Q.What should I wear to Burns Night?
A.Traditional Scottish garb is encouraged, though black, white and/or tartan is also considered traditional for a Burns supper.
Q. What happens with the money from Burns Night?
A. Most years we barely break even, but in past years when we ended up with extra money, all profits were donated to the Moscow High School Environmental Club.
Q. Why are the tickets a little more expensive than last year?
A. In 2007, despite selling out all of our tickets, we lost a little bit of money (don't worry, not much). The higher prices ensure that the dinner pays for itself.
Q. Why not just pay the performers less?
A. All musicians, speakers, organizers, etc. volunteer their time and receive no payment for their services.
